Road Safety

Today Constable Nikki came to visit us in Room 13. She gave us a better understanding of road safety and why it is so important.

Effective road safety education helps students contribute to everyone’s safety over the long term. A safe system includes safe roads, safe speeds, safe vehicles and safe road use.

Students who individually and collectively participate in a safe system act responsibly, articulate high expectations and ask questions about how the system meets everyone’s needs. Children, family and whānau, teachers and other agencies are all involved.

Here Constable Nikki is asking us questions about crossing the road?
